21-Day Writing Meditation21-Day Writing Meditation

About Course

Through daily sitting, writing, and listening, you’ll learn how to deepen your attention and create a space for your writing. Writing meditation can be a powerful way to bring the active mind in closer alignment with the mind of meditation. This course will help you develop tools and insights for overcoming habitual mind states, self-sabotaging thoughts and behaviors. After about only one week you will feel yourself opening up to others and to your creativity and imagination. Each day you will be introduced to one concept or theme that allows you to confront any doubts or judgements about yourself, and to overcome obstacles to happiness and self-awareness. You will be amazed at how a daily writing meditation practice helps you to know and trust yourself more and become more compassionate toward others. It has been proven that writing makes people happier, healthier and less anxious. All you need for this course is a quiet space, a notebook and a pen. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE COURSE The first two weeks of the course include a meditation followed by a writing exercise, while the final week integrates the two practices as you begin to discover how both can enliven and enrich the other. This course works really well to help you:
  • Bring more creativity into your life
  • Be more outgoing
  • Develop loving kindness and compassion for all beings
  • Heal past trauma
  • Become more self confident
  • Be more trusting of yourself
  • Become a better, more intuitive writer
  • Unleash ideas for your writing
What People Are Saying
“I’m amazed at the difference when allowing myself to actually listen and embrace the sounds around me during the mediation time. Rather than fighting with myself and trying to block them out to find silence. I found myself much more relaxed and peaceful during the mediation… My writing became more descriptive and had more depth. It was a great experience!” -Cheryl “Once I sat in that feeling and journaled about it, I started feeling a bit more energized. Like I was releasing. Which I love doing. Getting rid of what does not belong to me as well as old belief systems that I have been holding on to. Thank you, Lissa, for giving us the safe space and the opportunity to share.” -Sylvie “I am really taking the class at a slow pace. These lessons really opened my heart and calmed my soul. My favorite so far! I am going to start doing this meditation in the morning, such a great way to start a day.” -Melissa “I like the idea of letting the first thoughts carry you as far as they do naturally, and then stopping there.” -Katie “I found the meditation useful as I have been worried like everyone about the painful situation we are all in. I noticed from the side of the ripples. Acknowledged a thought and watched it dissipate into calmness. The writing helped clarify this.” -Sue “Thank you for this course. It has helped me reconnect to me and to writing.” -Christie
